PMFME (PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises)
- What it offers
- Credit-linked capital subsidy of 35% of eligible project cost, up to ₹10 lakh per unit. SHG members can get seed capital of ₹40,000 each. Common infrastructure for FPOs, SHGs and cooperatives: 35% up to ₹3 crore.
- Who it is for
- Micro food processors (pickles, spices, bakery, dairy, millets and more), SHGs, FPOs and cooperatives.

PMKSY: Integrated Cold Chain and Value Addition Infrastructure
Status: PMKSY works through calls for proposals (EOIs). Check mofpi.gov.in for open calls.
- What it offers
- Grant of 35% of eligible project cost (50% in difficult areas and for SC/ST beneficiaries, FPOs and SHGs), up to ₹10 crore per project. Other PMKSY components include agro-processing clusters (up to ₹10 crore) and food processing and preservation capacities (up to ₹5 crore).
- Who it is for
- Individuals, companies, firms, FPOs, cooperatives and SHGs setting up cold chain or processing infrastructure.

PLISFPI (Production Linked Incentive Scheme for Food Processing Industry)
Status: Beneficiaries are already selected. This is not an open call for new applicants.
- What it offers
- Incentives linked to incremental sales, for FY 2021-22 to FY 2026-27, with an approved outlay of ₹10,900 crore.
- Who it is for
- Food processing companies that were selected under the scheme.
Food Processing Fund: refinance via NABARD

- What it offers
- Concessional refinance through NABARD from a corpus of ₹983.02 crore. The final lending rate to the borrower must not exceed 10% a year.
- Who it is for
- Food processing units and food parks borrowing from eligible lenders.

NHB cold storage subsidy

- Credit-linked subsidy of 35% of project cost in general areas and 45% in special areas, up to ₹2 crore per project. Circular amended 21 Aug 2026.
- Who it is for
- Entrepreneurs, FPOs and firms building cold storage for horticulture produce.

Operation Greens

- What it offers
- Assistance of 35–50% of eligible project cost, up to ₹15 crore for integrated projects and ₹10 crore for standalone projects.
