Viksit Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026: MSME incentives
Status: Detailed scheme rules are in the government resolutions. Check the Industries Commissionerate before you invest.
- What it offers
- MSMEs can combine capital subsidy, interest subsidy and power-tariff support, up to 35% of eligible fixed capital investment (Category B talukas) or 45% (Category A). Capital subsidy: 25% (B) or 35% (A) of eFCI. Interest subsidy: 7% on term loans for 5 years, up to 10% of eFCI. Power tariff: ₹1 (B) or ₹2 (A) per unit for 5 years.

SC/ST entrepreneurs: additional 5%
- What it offers
- Under the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Scheme and the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Scheme, SC and ST entrepreneurs of MSMEs get an additional 5% on the overall incentive ceiling.

Startup support
- What it offers
- Sustenance allowance of ₹25,000 a month for one year (₹30,000 with a woman co-founder), seed support up to ₹30 lakh (up to ₹50 lakh in total for some startups), an extra 1% interest subsidy and acceleration support up to ₹5 lakh.

Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana
Status: The official sheet is for the Cottage and Rural Policy 2016-2021. Confirm current limits with the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries.
- What it offers
- Bank loans for self-employment with subsidy: 20% urban / 25% rural for the general category, 30% / 40% for women, SC, ST, ex-servicemen and disabled applicants. The official sheet lists loans up to ₹8 lakh for industries, ₹6 lakh for services and ₹3 lakh for business.
- Who it is for
- Gujarat residents aged 18–65 with Class 4 pass, relevant training or experience, or traditional artisans. No income limit.
